Position Overview

As an Account Executive at Vantage Discovery, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts and expanding our customer base. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, with a focus on enterprise-level e-commerce companies. Your ability to understand complex business needs, communicate the value of our platform, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers will be essential to our growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect into and qualify new business opportunities with large, multinational retailers, brands and online marketplaces.

  • Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand customer needs and collaborate with Applications Engineers to deliver compelling value-based product demonstrations.

  • Negotiate and close complex, high-value deals which typically involve POCs, multiple stakeholders, multi-faceted pricing negotiations, and selling to executives and CXOs.

  • Provide regular forecasts and reports on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product enhancements to effectively position our solutions.

  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars to represent Vantage Discovery and generate new leads.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, preferably in SaaS or e-commerce.

  • Strong understanding of ecommerce and AI.

  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.

  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales methodologies.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience selling AI, ML, or data analytics solutions.

  • Knowledge of search, AI, and LLM technologies.

  • Awards for top achievement (President’s club, Winner’s circle, Top 10%).

  • Prior experience in a high-growth technology startup.
