Job Summary
Under the direction of the school principal and CTE Director, plan and provide for appropriate learning experiences for students in the area of STEM. Provide an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of individuals to ensure success for every student. Supervise students in a variety of school related settings. Plan instruction, monitor and evaluate student outcomes. Communicate and interact with students, parents, staff, and community.
Ideal candidates will have a passion for teaching in the technology, engineering, and computer science fields with a focus on coding, engineering, robotics, and technical skills.

Candidate must possess the leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with pupils, other teachers, and members of the community. Candidate should be skilled in the use of word processing, database, and presentation software. Must be able to provide own transportation to school-related functions, community agencies, and schools throughout the division. Frequent operation of office equipment is required.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Duties are typically performed in various school settings, including the classroom, gym, cafeteria, auditorium, and recreational areas. Frequent walking, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other limited physical activities are required. Must have the ability to bend, stoop, sit on the floor, climb stairs, walk and reach overhead; to sit and stand for extended periods of time; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in normal classrooms, outdoors and on the telephone. Occasional travel with students on field trips may be necessary. Occasional movement of students by wheelchairs and other mechanical devices may be required. Regular instruction to special needs children may be necessary. Daily personal and close contact with children to provide classroom management and learning environment support is required. Regular contact with other staff members and parents is required. Occasional contact with medical professionals may be required. Frequent contact with parents by phone and in person is necessary.
