Job Title: Full Stack Developer Consultant (Advisory Role – Non-Coding)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer Consultant to provide technical guidance, architecture advice, and development oversight. This is a non-coding role focused on reviewing systems, improving development practices, and supporting engineering decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on web application structure and architecture
- Review frontend and backend systems for improvements
- Help define simple and scalable development practices
- Support troubleshooting of application and system issues
- Advise on API design and integration approaches
- Assist in selecting tools and technologies for projects
- Review developer work and provide clear feedback
- Help improve performance, usability, and maintainability of applications
- Support documentation of systems and workflows
Technology Areas (Basic Stack Focus):
- Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React (or basic React knowledge)
- Backend: Node.js, Express
- Databases: MySQL or MongoDB
- APIs: REST APIs (basic understanding and design)
- Version Control: Git & GitHub
- Hosting / Cloud Basics: AWS or simple deployment platforms (Heroku, Vercel, Netlify)
Required Skills:
- Understanding of how full stack web applications work
- Ability to read and review code (not required to write complex code)
- Knowledge of basic frontend and backend concepts
- Familiarity with APIs and database structures
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
- Experience working with web development teams or projects
