Currently, we are looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in high-availability, virtualized networks, and network packet processing. Minimal requirement for this role:

· 8+ years of experience with systems/networking development

· 6+ years of experience with Network/  Embedded Programming using C++(Must)

· Proficient at programming in C++ and experience with Python

· Proficient with Linux debugging and internals (Must)

. Deep knowledge of DPDK and Kernel packet processing

. Proficient in Networking Features

. Internet Protocol Suite (TCP/IP)/ UDP with deep expertise in packet-level

· Bachelor's in computer science and Engineering or related engineering fields

 

Preferred Qualifications:

· Prior development experience with network protocol implementation, or network packet processing

· Kernel module development knowledge

. Embedded Programming experiance

· Experience in Linux file systems, kernel, and debugging Linux internals

· Experience with Agile Development

· Prior cloud experience in networking datapath

· Master's / PhD degree in Computer Science or related engineering fields 

Responsibilities

As a Principal Member of the Technical Staff on the Dataplane team, you will design and develop major core components of Oracle’s Virtual Cloud Network. You will be responsible for delivering high-speed packet processing architectures that provide networking features such as TCP/UDP packet processing, access controls, QoS,  metrics, monitoring dashboards, etc.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
