Robotics and Automation Vocational Instructor or Engineering Technology Instructor(Chapter 74-Grades 9-12)

Nashoba Valley Technical High School is seeking a Robotics or Engineering Instructor for our Engineering/Robotics Chapter 74 Vocational Program. PLTW credentials a plus. We are seeing a technical teacher to join our caring and collaborative community of teachers, learners, and leaders.
Nashoba Valley Technical High School is a state of the art regional technical high school proudly serving students from our district towns of Ayer, Chelmsford, Groton, Littleton, Pepperell, Shirley, Townsend, and Westford, Massachusetts. Nashoba Valley Technical High School offers vocational training opportunities in eighteen different Chapter 74 technical programs, including Engineering/Robotics & Automation.
The preferred candidate will have recent and relevant industry experience, have experience working with high school age students or young adults, and be Chapter 74 Licensed in Engineering or eligible for licensure.
Robotics and Automation Technology Licensure Requirements
Preliminary Vocational Technical Teacher License
Associate’s degree or higher degree related to the subject matter and skills to be taught
Four years of full-time employment experience directly related to robotics and automation technology
Passing score on each test (written test and performance test) in robotics and automation technology
One of the following:
-achieve a passing score on the Vocational Technical Literacy Skills Test
-achieve a passing score on the Communication and Literacy Skills Test
