Seeking Assistant Director for Low Budget-Drama/Comedy Feature Film-"Incautious" (Chicago)

“Incautious” Plot Summary: 

A stay-at-home mother struggles to watch over her children as she finds herself addicted to alcohol and other drugs.  A broken man takes out his anguish on his wife and children. 
 
 

Compensation: 

Deferred Payment, IMDB Credit, Meals 

Rate: $150/day deferred for up to 16 shooting days  

Payment: $150 deferred per 9-11 hour shooting day

Callback Audition Dates for Casting Our Talent:

January 31st, 2026, Saturday (Late Morning/Afternoon) 

February 4th, 2026, Wednesday (Evening) 

Shoot Dates: 

Up 16 days (weekends) in Spring/Summer, 2026 

 
Duties: 

1. Breakdown the script 

2. Work with the Director to create a schedule 
 
3. Generate breakdown sheets 
 
4. Do his/her best to keep shooting days on schedule

2. Must show up on time and have great time management skills 
 
3. The ability to pay close attention to detail 

 
4. Have excellent communication skills 
 
5. The ability to plan ahead  

 
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills

Director's Bio: 

Harry is a passionate filmmaker who has been watching movies since as long as he can remember. Some of his favorite films include, "Memento", "The Dark Knight", "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, “The Shining”, "Alien", etc.  He has seen over 10,000 films and is as crazy about movies as any individual you will ever meet.  Harry has worked on several various films, and has written, produced, directed, and edited "515", "Enter the Room", “In the Backseat”, “Bay for Blood”, and “The Corridor Crossing”.
