We are looking for a System Integration Engineer with 4 toΒ 6 years of experience in deploying and integrating robotics systems with various sensor modules. The role requires strong proficiency in Linux environments, hardware-software interfacing, and hands-on support during system deployment. As integration includes physical hardware, this is a hybrid/on-site position based in Montreal.
Integrate robotic systems with sensors (LIDAR, IMU, GPS, cameras, etc.).
Set up and manage Linux-based environments for robotic deployments.
Support on-site integration, testing, and calibration of robotics systems.
Work with middleware such as ROS/ROS2 for real-time sensor communication.
Identify and resolve hardware-software interface issues.
Document integration procedures and deployment configurations.
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering.
4 to 6 years in robotics or embedded system integration roles.
Proficient in Linux (Ubuntu), Bash scripting, and system troubleshooting.
Experience working with robotic frameworks like ROS/ROS2.
Strong understanding of communication protocols (CAN, UART, Ethernet).
Comfortable working on-site with hardware and field deployments.
Bilingual (English/French) preferred.
Basic Python or C++ for scripting and automation.
Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git).
Exposure to real-time or embedded systems.
