SHARE at NTU aims to expand the current state of technology and build on Robotics & Industry 4.0 as aligned with Schaefflerβs strategic roadmap. SHARE at NTU also serves as a platform in identifying and developing new talents via various collaboration initiatives with the University.
Key Responsibilities:
The research associate will be leading the development of sensor fusion, perception, localization, situation awareness for autonomous robotic navigation.
The work will also involve the setting up of the hardware-in-the-loop test rig and conducting experiments.
To conduct research on sensor fusion, perception, localization, situation awareness for autonomous robotic navigation.
Requirements:
The candidate must at least have a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, Control Engineering, etc
Candidates having relevant working experience will be preferred.
Strong background in localization, mapping, robotics and automation.
Good communications skills and the ability to work independently and facilitate projects with minimal supervision
Able to contribute to Journal/Conference papers with good presentation skills
Able to plan and organize well and adhere to deadlines
